DIY Personalized Gift Tags

These are so simple to make.

I buy boxes of Christmas cards every year, and of course I don’t use them all. Do you do that too? I decided to take some of those extra cards and cut them into gift tags. If you save the cards you receive every year, you could repurpose them into gift tags. What about making a gift tag from the card of the person who gave you the card last year?

I took my ruler and rotary cutter and cut my card into 3 pieces.

Then I gathered more supplies; a hole punch and some yarn. You could use some narrow ribbon or embroidery thread, whatever you like.

To personalize them you can type up their name and cut out and tape to the back. I had some stickers and I put one on the front. Michael’s and Hobby Lobby and JoAnn Fabrics have great selections of letter stickers in the scrapbook section.

And here’s how mine turned out. I put the initial on the back side of the other two tags.

I’m going to post another article on another gift tag idea. Hope You enjoy!

Now to the Christmas tree.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Karen
