I decided to go through one of my file boxes, the one that I save my magazine clippings in, projects to do, dream house stuff, etc. I haven’t looked in there in awhile. I used to be really good at filing my clippings right away, into the correct folder. Then I let it get a little disorganized. I had some clippings on my desk, some in my bookshelf in my bedroom (where I usually like to read my magazines before I go to bed), and some on my nightstand. Awhile back I actually stuck them in the front of my file box, thinking I would file them properly, when I find the time.
Well, I decided to do it tonight. The problem is, I get to dreaming and making a wish list and before I know it, it’s midnight and I gotta get to bed. As I’ve said before, I am NOT a morning person and if I don’t force myself to get to bed by midnight, I know it’ll be purt near impossible to drag myself out of the bed at 6:30 in the morning. So, I thought I’d real quick share a few of my pics to show you what projects I found, that my dear sweet precious wonderful fantastic husband will be helping me build, someday. Not that I think he’ll be reading this blog. 🙂 Love you honey!!!
These are the outdoor projects (below).
I want a patio cover and this one looks easy enough to build. We currently have no shade in the back yard and this would be beautiful and functional. I like the patio flooring too.
This looks fairly simple, put up some boards and eye hooks with wire, plant some ivy, and hostas, and lickity split – a beautiful wall. Maybe I could put this on one side of my patio.
I love this garden gate (above).
I love this small pergola covering the bench.
This is beautiful too.
This would be terrific down at Mom’s, under her beautiful tall shade trees. Then she wouldn’t need a cover over it.
Here are the indoor projects…
I sure can use some extra storage space and seating space.
This would be a great room divider between my dining-room and living-room (without the bar, of course).
To have one of these islands, I’d have to build a new house, but…
Mama has plenty of room in her kitchen, actually she has too much room and we need to fill that space. This would be just perfect. Still, I can dream of putting one of these in my retirement home in the country, up north, right?
I’d love to try my hand at a new back-splash. Haven’t done tile work yet.
Do you get the idea that my husband, my dear sweet precious wonderful fantastic husband, is going to be working on honey-do’s until he’s about 80?
Well, yeah, but I’ll be helping.
Just kidding, honey.
Be honest ladies, how long is your honey-do list? Or rather, how big is your wish list?
We all gotta have dreams!!!
The holiday is coming up and I am so ready. How ’bout y’all? Have a safe and blessed Independence Day!
